Hey! Sorry about this. What version of Cursor are you on? We have a team working on memory and performance and knowing your version would help, and I can then send additional info on getting memory issue in your specific case.
This has been getting worse with every update. My editor will randomly choke and stop updating as I’m typing.
I don’t know what it’s doing, but it’s extremely distruptive.
Above all else, the UI should be smooth when I’m typing. Otherwise it disrupts my flow and thought process as I get exhasperated.
I’m finding myself switching to JetBrains more often with every crappy update.
the reason for this was i been working on a features in my project during 3-4 hours when suddenly in a critical op the editor crashes suddenly when i describing the problem…. go ■■■■ cursor… give my money back!!!
