[Solved] AI issue was actually extension issue

Upgraded to pro last week, all of a sudden the AI chat started hanging half-way through every response, the source tab would stop loading, I couldn’t even cmd + c to copy code, etc. Tried installing/reinstalling, no dice. Sent my logs into hi@cursor.com with no response. Tried different models, no dice either. It’s clearly cursor since VS code works just fine.

Solved - support told me to disable my extensions and I found the culprit was an “easycodeAI” extension that was causing performance issues.
