Some buttons not working

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

  • I click on Review next file, sometimes it works, sometimes it shows as if it was clicked but nothing happens
  • Minimizing the large chunks of code in the chat not working which is annoying because often it will show the whole file (especially annoying that the button falls behind the chat)
  • apply code button not showing, particularly annoying when updating large markdown files.

Steps to Reproduce

not sure, as it’s random, guessing it depends on how the code that is being generated applies are not.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report, we’ll look into it.

Since three days ago, the “Apply” button no longer applies (neither does the “copy” button.), making usage in “Ask” mode all but impossible. Could somebody from Cursor please provide an update? I am using version 1.6 of Cursor. Thanks.

I went back to previous chats where the Appky button appeared. It is now gone. This implies a change to to Cursor GUI. I recommend you prioritize fixing this problem since it makes Cursor unusable for many users. Agent mode is often not the best mode to use. If you could recommend the last stable version to download, I would greatly appreciate it. You might also provide feedback on what is being done to address this problem. Coding LLMs has become very competitive, and I hope you can maintain your lead, which depends not only on features but usability and speed. The latter could become a deal breaker. Thanks for reading, and another thanks if you respond!

My current solution: return to an earlier version (the issue does not relate to LLMs but to the interface itself. Some conditional statement in your algorithm is not functioning properly. If you could spare the time, I’d like to talk with somebody directly via Zoom or phone.).
