I understand the pricing of Cursor. Although I am not in a country that settles in US dollars, the price is relatively expensive for me, but it allows me to save a lot of effort on things outside of coding. However, there is one point I hope can be optimized: I hope that besides the $20 Pro and $60 Pro plans, there could be an additional $40 plan. I do not expect pricing differences based on region, but I hope there could be more options. I haven’t found a clear billing standard for the pay-as-you-go feature, which is still quite troublesome.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I get the request for a mid-tier plan between Pro and Pro+. This has come up a few times before, for example here: Planning Consultation and here: Pricing plan between Free and Pro?. I can’t share any updates on plan structure right now.
Each plan includes a monthly usage budget. Anything over that is charged at API pricing with no markup.
On-demand needs to be explicitly enabled in settings, and it gets separate invoices.
You can set a spend limit to cap costs, or turn off on-demand entirely.
