I recently started using Sonnet 3.7 with Cursor. It gets out of hand more often than not. It unnecessarily implements/break the code it wants to. Has someone found a way to tame it? I didn’t expect it to be this worse. It has wasted a lot of my premium usage for nothing. Has anyone found a way to tame it? Cursorrules are there but doesn’t seem to work.
You just don’t know how to use it or I bet any LLM
They not all powerful tool which you just tell what you do and expect miracle, no one refund your 10$ as you expected to cursor replace years of dev experience
And cursor is not evil cabal created to rip of your hard earn 5$ on premium requests
I’m using 3.7 and extremely happy with it, it solves like 70-80% of tasks I gave it, which is extreme value.
3.5 was on 40-60% level.

Yeah and with some learning curve, it’s different, I had to adjust prompts and cursor rules several times before I start getting amazing results
Still in 20% of time it fails, sometimes miserably
But I just learn instead of throwing temper tantrums on forums and asking to refund me 2$ the failure costed me
