Sound notification is not working

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enable Notifications:

• System Notifications
• Completion Sound

2. Start chat we message “Hello”
3. Switch to another windows
4. Chat is finished. No sound, sometimes no notifications

Expected Behavior

See notification popup and sound

Hey, thanks for the report. Could you try disabling completion sound, restarting Cursor, and then enabling it again? Also, start a new chat. Additionally, check the sound settings and see if the Task completed sound is enabled.

It still doesn’t work. even if I turn on-off notifications and checkbox for sound. sometimes yes, today - no.

upd:
turn on and off this checkbox in system. I at last heard the sound. But still, it should avoid that better

In addition to last message, I saw only notifications WITHOUT a sound, until I run smth from here : ctrl + shift + P : maybe need to select Refresh composer, or other options (but it has no visual effect) → after that I at last started to hear that ■■■■■■■ sound
