Describe the Bug

With latest update sound on task finish is not working again.
Previos solution from Sound and notification of chat finishing is not working - #3 by User1 do not helps

Steps to Reproduce

Enable Notifications in cursor settings:
System Notifications
Completion Sound
Start chat, we message “Hello”
Switch to another windows
Chat is finished. No sound, sometimes no notifications

Expected Behavior

See notification popup and sound

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 1.7.54 (user setup)

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

It seems like it’s working again
But relust are unstable. Sometimes sound is working, sometimes not
