Additional Information

Just to let you know, I have very little programming experience. I’m mostly relying on Composer. This is a very small side project that has gotten surprisingly robust and it’s very exciting, but this problem is just slowing me down to a halt.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

I have the same issue on Windows 11 — console commands hang. The cursor keeps waiting endlessly for the command to finish, even though it has already completed.
A workaround is to press the “Move to background” button.

just selelct the terminal output window within the chat panel as if you were going to type directly into it (which you can do) and hitting enter a few times gets it unstuck.
