Student Account for Indians

I’m a student from India but I am unable to apply for the student account because in our country most of the Institutes do not provide any email address with .edu at the end. Rather, Indian student email addresses end with .ac.in like in my case, my email address ends with kgpian.iitkgp.ac.in and it is affiliated to IIT Kharagpur. There should be provisions to accommodate Indian students as well to the Student program. Since the platform accepts only .edu emails, all other students who do not possess .edu email are deprived of the benefits.
