I understand the student verification normally requires a .edu domain, but HKU uses .hk/.hku.hk for student emails in many regions.
Could you please include *.hku.hk (or Hong Kong - .hk) in the supported education email domains for student verification?

Hi! I am a student at HSE University. My school email is edu.hse.ru. The student verification page says ‘Not eligible’ and doesn’t let me access the verification form. Could you please help me open the verification?

Hi everyone,

I am a student at Future University, Sudan (https://fu.edu.sd/) and I am facing the same issue. My university does not issue .edu email addresses to students — this is common across most Sudanese universities.

I have contacted Cursor support twice (tickets T-D36230 and T-D38964) but both times I received the same automated response asking me to write from a .edu email, which I do not have.

I have my student ID ready as proof of enrollment, and my university can be verified directly at [email protected].

Is there any way to get this escalated to a human agent who can review alternative verification?
