Bug - Verified students get one year of free Cursor Pro

There is bug on verified student on Cursor.

I have login with my second email using my company email. Then I registered into Cursor for Students | Cursor - The AI Code Editor. After I got email We have successfully confirmed your student status then press button " [Apply Discount (Cursor - The AI Code Editor) " into that page.

The coupon is being applied into my current login cursor email (that my company email), not my student email.

This should be applied into my student email not my current login cursor account.

same problem! and when i proceeded with my card on the previously logged in email, the card gets declined

I also had this problem, in the discount application I had my personal email and when I clicked on apply it opened in the Cursor account of my personal email but it did not apply any discount in the University account. Have you found a solution to this?

I got the email, but after clicking ‘Apply Discount’, I didn’t receive any discount — the prices were the usual.

Yup, when I click on the Apply Discount button, it takes me to the stripe gateway but with the same 20$ price. Do I have to first pay the amount, and then it will be refunded?

I have the same problem. After verifying the student status, it just redirects to the stripe page with no discount

Same issue for me. I verified my student status with my edu email and tried to sign up with pro. It redirected me to a stripe payment. I went through with the process thinking it may show the discount at the last step but it charged me $20. I canceled it.
