Describe the Bug
Hi,
Often times I start a conversation using Ask mode, have some exchange and planning, and then I switch to Agent mode for the implementation of the solution.
I use Gemini 2.5 pro, and I think everytime I do this, the agent fails to edit/create files, agent does acknowledge the issue, retries and fails. See the following snippets of replies;

Am I expecting/doing something wrong or is this just a bug?
Steps to Reproduce
Start with Ask mode, then use Agent mode to apply the changes discussed during Ask mode.
Expected Behavior
Suggested changes to be applied.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue
