Can I switch from my personal pro account to company team account straight away? Will I loose context?
Yes, you can switch. If you’re signing into a team account that uses a different email, just sign out (Cursor Settings > Account) and sign back in with your team email. Your chat history, project rules, and codebase index are all stored locally on your machine, so nothing is lost when switching accounts.
If you’re using the same email for both, the transition to a team plan happens on the billing side and nothing changes in your IDE at all.
