The app doesn't work, the support doesn't answer

Hi.

It’s been about a week as chat and composer stopped working for me. I always see connection failed error (req id e652487f-a597-44fa-9113-ddd38ed0bba4 for example) while autocomplete works well, so it doesn’t seem to be connection issue.

I’ve emailed to hi@cursor.sh as error message suggested a few days ago but they haven’t even replied something like “your message received”.

Hope you can help me.

05) Developer tools console errors

Open developer tools via:

Cursor > Help > Toggle Developer Tools

and then click Console and see if there are any related errors.

06) Logs

It seems like a connection issue. If you disable the VPN, does that resolve the problem? You can also try whitelisting important Cursor addresses. Here’s the list of addresses that need access:

I’ve tried with and without vpn many times, did not help.
Also if it’s connection issue, why autocomplete works?

Specifically, I see the error Failed to establish a socket connection to proxies: ["PROXY KE72Pn25:YbQtJr@154.195.102.139:63876"]. Are you using a proxy server on your computer or within Cursor?

It could also be an issue with an extension. Try loading in safe mode cursor --disable-extensions it might be one of the installed extensions. If the problem persists, try clearing the cache using this guide:

You’re right, it was proxy in my settings, thank you very much
