The Chat pane is not working and just reports the error over and over:
Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN

My internet works fine, I have no VPN, I restarted Cursor but it reloads everything the exact way I left it.
Please help - I am stuck!
Don’t worry, happening to me too. Coming back in spurts though. It’s rush hour, give it a little bit.
Thanks, after flailing on this a bit and waiting for it to fix itslef 
I searched the forum for similar posts - there are many - tons! Finally someone said start a new chat - that worked!
