The cursor block in the editor behaves unexpectedly

Hi.
My cursor block in the editor behaves unexpectedly when I use cursor AI.

CASE

  1. Open the editor.
  2. Attempt to select a specific block of text using mouse drag or keyboard selection.
  3. Notice that the selected area does not align with the intended selection, or the cursor behaves erratically.

In this case, I found eventId, but selected area is shown like this

This issue significantly affects workflow efficiency within the editor, making precise block selection difficult and reducing usability.

How can I solve this problem?
Restarting the IDE does not resolve the issue. The problem persists even after restarting multiple times.

Hey, this could be caused by an extension. To rule it out, start in safe mode by entering this command in the terminal: cursor --disable-extensions. If the issue persists, check your selection settings, you might have this option enabled:
