The icons in the upper right corner disappeared after last update (like GitLens File Annotations etc)

Steps to Reproduce

Just open a file in the code editor Cursor

Expected Behavior

All icons are supposed to be displayed

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 2.1.26 (user setup)
VSCode Version: 1.105.1

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Hey, please check this solution:


I’ve tried this before, but as you can see there aren’t any GitLens icons in the menu even though the extension is set up.
In VSCode everything works fine.

My markdown preview, gitlens, versionlens icons are all gone, and cannot be configured.

I was having the same issue. Going to my cursor extensions → Click gear icon on Gitlens extension → Install specific version, then install a previous version/restart extension.

After that I re-upgraded to the latest version, restart extension again.

Then in the top right three dot menu → Configure Icon Visibility, the old options for File annotations etc is there again.
