Not sure why I’m getting this. Not using an api
I even generated an API key on my own, configured it in Cursor, and sent the request, but this is the response I received.
![]()
We encountered an issue when using your API key: Provider was unable to process your request
API Error:
Request failed with status code 404: {"type":"error","error":{"type":"not_found_error","message":"model: claude-4-sonnet"}}
+1, probably will take a little time for the backends to get unclogged
Same here, hopefully the team would let us use the new Claude 4.0 soon.
I’ve got same issue.
same.
+1 Same
Yes, It cost your request but doesn’t work ![]()
#GiveMeBackRequest
same here
Getting the same issue. +1
Seems to have been fixed now.
Problem is: the failed attempts are counting against the monthly requests!
I hope Cursor will give us back those ones.
I finally had one work for me, but the 0.5 requests shows only in the detailed usage, my count went up by 1 (like it did for all of the failures.)
I am nearly at 500 requests for the month, I will see if I get slowed down when that hits, really hoping it doesn’t and instead uses the actual request count from the detailed usage. Will report back if this isn’t fixed.
I get The model claude-4-sonnet-thinking does not work with your current plan or api key – Interestingly if I lower it to claude-3.7-sonnet, I also get The model claude-3.7-sonnet-thinking does not work with your current plan or api key.
Is anybody else getting this issue (lower models also not working)?
Hey, this should be fixed now.
Are you able to check on the request count status? I did have one successful response but don’t want to use this if it counts towards my total as 1 each (and also the failed ones that counted towards our totals in the dashboard).
For anyone who can’t request, try restarting Cursor.
