The tools are broken and messages keep getting stuck

Describe the Bug

When ever i try to send a message to the aggent the tools keep timing out and sometimes it tries to edit a file and gets stuck there indefinetly. I had to keep sending a new message “you got stuck” and that firstly counts as a new message and secondly it again gets stuck. This is realy frustrating i am unable to do anything and this also caused me to run out of the pro credits

Steps to Reproduce

send a message and it makes tool calls which either timeout or just get stuck

Expected Behavior

it should do the task without getting stuck

Hi @Rana-Faraz and thank you for the bug report.

Could you provide more details on which model is this happening and share the Request ID so Cursor Team can analyze the issue?

Some providers have had temporary issues today and I would like to see if this is related.
