Out of the blue, cursor agent is saying: Tool create_file not found. (red). Files that agent wants to create are not created, resulting in multiple errors. I restarted cursor, and same issue. I am not sure what triggered this.

Hey, have you also tried creating a new chat? Also, try in another project to see if the same thing happens.

To be exact, this is only happening to the gemini 2.5 pro max one. It’s editing files fine for claude 3.7 thinking
having same issue, and I don’t want to create a new chat. How can I fix this in the existing chat?

got this same error, very annoying because gemini is otherwise the best agent but it cant edit html and often asks me to edit js
Agreed. To get around the issue I switch to another model eg claude-3.7-sonnet. This then creates the files and folders. Then switch back to Gemini and instruct it to check the code.

But this is not the solution, right?? In the new chat, we don’t have the previous conversation. So whatever plan or strategy we make in the chat context will be gone in new chat.
