Ultra mode forced to use auto

Describe the Bug

Crazy i thought ultra mode meant i can still use dumber models like sonnet non thinking and the request pool would just refill. Unfortunately after not using for a few hours i come back and now it only works with auto mode, no max mode , no sonnet thinking, no regular sonnet.

After the first week it kept telling me i have to use sonnet and now i cant even use that it just forces auto. Can we get some concrete rules on what i pay $200 a month for.

Steps to Reproduce

Buy cursor ultra - > get forced to use auto mode

Not being forced to use auto mode after paying $200

I just got a different message today that I would be switched to usage pricing for the rest of my plan. I only got 1100. The usage is so expensive now that I would rather just use CC.

its so stupid! i sent a refund claim to cursor about this. i bought this ultra plan so i had unlimited usage for models without max turned on…

it’s always been the game, burn investor money, grab attention then forsake the ship

consider finding another company that still has the capacity to burn extra investors money rather than crying here

had the same issue. over night, cursor told me that I used over 2.5k USD worth of tokens, which is funny because I never even was close to that value before. Now I paid 200 USD for the ultra plan, just to be stuck on the f’ed-up auto mode.

If you use cursor, the company will scam you at every possibility over and over again. “You made a contract with us? we don’t give a F. You paid us for services? we don’t care.”

I used cursor since v0.39 and I got scammed so many times already by this ■■■■■■ up company that the only thing left is blaming myself for giving it a try again and again.
