Unable to install Beta / Early updates on Linux

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Enabling Beta Early Access does not provide beta updates. It redirects to the general download page for the stable release instead of fetching the beta version.

Steps to Reproduce

On Linux, open Settings → Beta and enable Early Access.
Go to Settings → About → Check for Updates.
Click Download Update when prompted.

You will be redirected to the Cursor download page containing only stable builds, not the beta version.

Same issue. However, I’ve found a workaround: just open this link: https://api2.cursor.sh/updates/download/golden/linux-x64-deb/cursor/2.0
