Unable to Join Cursor Student Program – My University Doesn’t Provide .edu Email 😞

Hey folks,

I’ve been wanting to join the Cursor Student Program because it looks super helpful for students like me who are into coding and AI. But I ran into a problem — the Verification requires a .edu email, and my college doesn’t give those to students, only to staff and faculty.

I asked my college admin about it, and they confirmed that students just don’t get .edu emails at all. I only have my personal Gmail, but I do have a valid student ID card from my university.

Is there any other way I can apply or prove I’m a student? Maybe using my student ID or some other kind of verification?

I’d really love to use Cursor for my projects and studies. If anyone from the team or community knows a workaround or has been through this, I’d really appreciate the help!

In our case, our domain is “[email protected]” and the institute is listead in the sheer list of valid institutes from spain.. but the domain is not “.edu”

for listead institutes, shouldnt cursor be valid also? hope you fix it soon, great product =)))
