There have been a bunch of extremely basic bugs recently - it’s extremely frustrating how cursor keeps pushing their agent view, but is incapable of keeping the foundations stable.
The questions UI has been broken on multiple occasions recently, and recently reverted a fix as well.
Hey, this is a known regression in 3.10.x. Clicking the edited file card in chat no longer opens the file. We’re already tracking the issue on our side, but I can’t share an ETA for a fix yet.
For now, the workaround is to open files from the Review Changes tab. File navigation there still works like before.
Once the fix ships, I’ll post an update in this thread.
@Lewis_Hyman I hear you on the instability after the update, that’s fair. This specific file click bug is reported and on our radar. If you’re seeing other regressions too, like issues with the questions UI, please start separate threads with the Request ID and your version so we can dig into each one faster.
It hasn’t just been this update - bugs are constantly appearing, disappearing and reappearing.
The IDE view has been severely neglected in the last few months, and it’s clear Cursor is trying to push tokenmaxxing with the new agent setup and cloud integrations. A number of basic features are still missing (probably intentionally), including displaying conversation cost, a variety of chat tools, and a completely broken BYOK environment.
It’s really hard to recommend the platform in this state, particularly when I’m constantly getting popups for features that I don’t care about, and the core experience continues to get worse.
@Lewis_Hyman I get the frustration, and some of the stability complaints are fair. Specifically on clicking an edited-file card, that’s a known bug and we’re tracking it. The workaround via the Review Changes tab still works for now. I’ll post an update here once it’s fixed.

Missing chat tools and other regressions: please open separate threads with concrete details and we’ll look at each one.
