Unable to reach openai but I'm using sonnet 3.7

When I click submit in the new Chat/Agent message box, I always get this message:
“unable to reach openai” but the model selected is 3.7 Sonnet. It shows a retry button that just gives me the same message when I click it.

I also tried disabling all the OpenAI models and that didn’t help.

OS: MacOS 14.1.1 (23B81)

Note: I have downgraded Cursor by downloading from the website after this was happening on the latest 0.46 version. It was working fine all day and I started getting this message about 15 minutes ago. On 0.45.17 the request just silently fails after clicking submit with no helpful message at all.

Current (downgraded) Cursor Version: 0.45.17 (Universal)

Same issue here.

OSX: Sonoma 14.1.1
Cursor: 0.46.6 (will test downgrading it now)

I restarted Cursor and created a new chat which seems to have fixed it; still on version 0.46.6.

working again for me on 0.45.17 after your suggestion. Guess I’ll have to wait for the update to come back to get on 0.46 again!
