Unable to use custom API key after 0.43 update

Hi,

I am trying to use my custom anthropic API for simple chat from the right panel but it keeps showing me “Composer relies on custom models that cannot be billed to an API key. Please disable API keys and use a Pro or Business subscription.”

I have tried to disable any thing related to Composer and what not, but no luck.

Any help would be really appreciated.

This is fixed is in v0.43.1, which should be available to you very soon! Sorry about that.

Hi @danperks ! I am trying to use Anthropic API key while on version 0.44.11… Observing the same error message. Do you know if this is expected/by design? Cheers!

Hey, are you seeing this in the chat, or the composer?

I’m on v0.45.1 and I’m still seeing this issue while using chat (not composer):

Hey, we’ve rolled back v0.45.1 due to this error, can you redownload the latest version from cursor.com, as that will resolve this for now, until v0.45.x is stable.

Yes the issue was observed in the chat… I’ve just downloaded and deployed latest package - I can confirm that it seems as if my earlier chat issue has been resolved. Cheers!
