Upgraded to subscription and everything broke

Hello, I upgraded to subscription and all of the sudden cursor started getting extremely slow, my copy button doesn’t work anymore, it underlines errors in my code that aren’t actually errors, etc.

I uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Nothing works. In addition, I cannot find a support button anywhere on the website so I’m supposed to come to the forum and make a post? Is that the way we are supposed to report issues?

Please cancel my subscription. I am not happy with his this has went.

Happy to help out here - what version are you on now? Is this the copy button in the chat?

Also happy to refund your subscription for the trouble, please let me know what email your account is under!

email is matt.ahlborg@gmail.com

I used cursor free version for months and then when I upgraded it stopped working well.

WhenI say copy doesn’t work, I literally mean pressing command+c on the keyboard. I literally cannot copy using the command. But when I right click and copy it works (most of the time).

I think there is some really bad memory leak or something happening with the version because everything else is super slow and even the typing is delayed.

My version is:

Version: 0.38.1

Hello? @rishabhy

Sorry for the delay - does this persist in the new version? Went ahead and refunded you for the hassle!

After removing completely and re-downloading latest version, it’s still really sluggish for me. It’s weird, I have my front end repo open in one window and then my back end rep open in another widow, and only the back end is sluggish. Like when I type it takes a few seconds for the letters to show up on the screen, but only on back end.

When I open up my repos in VsCode it’s all smooth, so I know it has to be something with Cursor.

I’m on a 21’ M1 macbook with 64 gigs of ram so performance shouldn’t be a problem.

Cursor worked fine for me for months. It is only when I upgraded to the subscription that all this stuff started happening.
