Describe the Bug
First of all I want to thank the Cursor team for recently adding one of my dream features – the ability to always see how much of my balance I have used and how much remains. This is a wonderful addition and I truly appreciate the effort.
However I have encountered a strange bug. From time to time the tooltip showing my remaining balance and usage pops up almost by itself and then stays visible indefinitely. It does not disappear on its own and it covers part of the chat area, including the assistant, which makes it difficult to work. Closing it is not straightforward and can be frustrating.
Steps to Reproduce
Use Cursor
Hover the mouse over the top left corner where the usage balance indicator appears
Move the mouse to another area
Notice that the tooltip does not disappear and remains over the chat
Expected Behavior
The tooltip should only appear when hovering over the balance indicator and should disappear automatically after a few seconds – ideally no more than five seconds – without requiring manual action to close it.

Additional Information
I know it’s annoying to find a bug this way, but it doesn’t happen all the time sometimes it works perfectly, and sometimes it happens. I haven’t been able to figure out when this bug occurs and when it doesn’t. Maybe it needs to be handled differently? You have a great designer, so I’m sure they’ll have an idea maybe a clearer button to choose whether to display it or not.
