Same here. It’s been the same for the last 4 hours. Any heads up ?

That’s what happens when submitting a prompt in composer > agent mode
Happens wether it is a fresh new or previous composer
Any idea ?
EDIT : The “Unable to reach Anthropic” issue seems to only occur in agent mode. Normal mode is working. This is a massive issue, highly need a fix please, I’ve been facing that for 7hours now.
it happened to me, too, consuming several hours! I’m a yearly Pro subscriber, not a cracker user!
downgrading Cursor to version 0.44.11 could fix it, but only for once, cuz Cursor will auto-update in the background. Have to re-downgrade again, if restarted Cursor or the issue occurs again.
I think the problem is with the proxy. the latest version of Cursor requires no proxy to chat, maybe cuz Cursor configured a “hidden cursor-only proxy” (or maybe a hidden special network tunnel?), which might be interrupted by system proxy enabled. In this case, both the “assumed hidden cursor-only proxy” and system proxy, no matter which one/both is/are on or off, as long as you turned on a proxy, failed to help Cursor connect to the according server, OpenAI or Anthropic. (just a theory, perhaps not true)
restarting Cursor and device, as well as resetting the network or proxy/vpn and adding the proxy rule for cursor, are all unable to fix it.
the only present solution is to repeatedly downgrade Cursor to Version 0.44.
hope the Cursor team could solve it as soon as possible!
Having the same issue. It states that an OpenAI req is what’s failing, but I’ve actually got the Claude model accepted. This affected me as an unpaid user but also as a paid user. Currently my specs are without an API key configured. Hope this resolves soon and cheers to the amazing dev team over at Cursor
