I realize not every thing would be on Cursor, some are more of VSCode problems. But I think they should be talked/written about nevertheless, otherwise it won’t improve.
For example that mouse binding situation - one argument on the official VSCode repo is, it is not worth implementing, because virtually nobody wants it nor would use it. A rather strange stance in a FOSS project where it is usually a focus to give users the most options and customization as possible (e.g. VSCode does it heavily via extensions), and customizable key/mouse bindings would be the bare minimum.
