Version 0.44 - Version Control does not work correclty

Sometimes it does not catch any changes, sometimes only a part of them. reverting to older version fixes it

Steps to Reproduce

Update to latest version. Launch Cursor, make some changes. They do not appear in version control.

Expected Behavior

They should happen in version control.

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version 0.44
VSCode Version: 1.93.1

Yes - Cursor is unusable

There is something critically wrong with version control. I rejected some changes today and the file went completely blank. I lost everything since the last commit earlier in the day.

It also seems to have broken undo/redo after making any edits
