Can we please have vertical tabs with coloured groups?
Below is an example I (quickly!) mocked:
Longer term I would like to attack git worktrees to groups.
This would allow me to switch context and relevant code according to a given group.
I don’t know how well it would work in practice though.

While waiting for this feature, you could use the Cursor extension, Tabstronaut, to do this, and hide the horizontal tab bar (set “workbench.editor.showTabs”: “none” in your Settings).
