I see willingToPayExtraForSpeed:false as an attribute in some of by Recent Usage Events (can be found in Pricing Details section at cursor.com/settings)
eg.
What if i am willing to pay for extra speed? How can I make willingToPayExtraForSpeed = true (I am a Pro user and I am using consumptive billing)? If I do get willingToPayExtraForSpeed = true, what does it really do for me compared to false?
Yes I’ve always wondered what that was, if it’s not something we need to worry about then why show it?
I’m guessing it’s the cursor fast model doing it’s thing which is free (and really fast already) If there is a faster version I would be willing to pay.
This is actually just a leftover attribute from some old development work - it’s not a real feature or setting that can be changed. The fast/slow requests are handled automatically based on your plan and usage
You’re already getting the fastest possible experience with the Pro plan + consumption billing enabled
