I previously made this post about .46 and have been using .45 since.
I have just tried the new .48, I asked it to rename some files with different casing using sonnet 3.7. It initially just renamed the exports, perhaps this was a bad prompt. Then when I explicitly told it to rename the files it eventually did this but it also rewrote half the files, and failed to delete the old one (this was over about 10 files)
Earlier I had rename a lot of files using .45 and it worked great, zero issues. Literally I must of renamed 50 files across multiple folders.
.48 has made some UX improvements but it still feels half baked and again I frankly think you have made some big backwards changes as I simply don’t get the same results.
SO I will continue to use .45, I’m not convinced the cursor team are making the right choices. The tab model is however very good, but still somewhat buggy. I might look at alternatives this will be a same, I think I’ve used cursor for 6/7 months now.
