Honestly, it’s not hard to package for the main distros, when is .deb .rpm coming? also where is the latest version for linux, not even available as an appimage.
I’ll pay for cursor when i can run it properly and have bug fix/feature parity otherwise I’ll have to stick with vscode/cline/openrouter - take my money please 
Yes, unfortunately, Linux support is not in great shape right now in Cursor 
Looking forward to the update for sure. Its not hard to do… but it takes years… apparently. 
I wonder if they’ve just not been able to vibe code the solution as a result the cursor team can’t figure it out. We’ll have to wait for GPT5, maybe that’ll be able to vibe it into shape.
