Hey, I see the Agent is stuck on “Planning next moves”. There are a few possible reasons, but I need a bit more info to troubleshoot:

Can you send:

  • Cursor version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)
  • OS (Windows/Mac/Linux)
  • What exactly you asked the Agent to do before it got stuck
  • Request ID (Chat context menu in the top right → Copy Request ID)

For now, please try:

  1. Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics, and check if there are any network issues
  2. Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + P → Developer: Open Process Explorer, and see if any background processes are stuck (indexing/extensionHost)

One similar case was related to indexing, here’s the solved thread: Agent hanging at Planning next moves due to Indexing. If you see anything active in Process Explorer, let me know.
