Windows: second IDE always forgets size and position

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

Opening a second instance of Cursor in a new project, ALWAYS trashes the size and location of the IDE window

Steps to Reproduce

See bug

Expected Behavior

Remembers the size and location properly, like it always does when opened as the only instance.

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 1.6.9 (user setup)
VSCode Version: 1.99.3

This has been going on since day-1, in all windows versions.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. As far as I know, the same happens in VS Code as well. I’ll pass this to the team to see if we can fix it.
