Describe the Bug
Cursor doesn’t remember my preferred terminal panel position and always defaults to being at the bottom. This gets quite annoying because I work on a wide screen and prefer to have my terminal on the right side.
I would very much prefer that my settings persists like it does in vscode.
Steps to Reproduce
- Open Cursor
- Terminal menu → New Terminal
- Right click on the terminal panel → Panel position → Right
- Open a new Cursor window
- Terminal menu → New terminal
- Terminal panel position is set to bottom instead of right
Expected Behavior
Cursor should remember my last set panel position
