Hi Cursor Team,

Thanks for providing this platform for bug reports! I’ve encountered an issue that is currently preventing me from using Cursor.

:lady_beetle: Clear Description of the Bug: My account has been blocked with a message stating, “Your request has been blocked as our system has detected suspicious activity from your account. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact us at [email protected].” This occurred after a recent attempt to use the application.

:counterclockwise_arrows_button: How to Reproduce the Bug (if known): The blocking message appears immediately upon attempting to access or use Cursor. I was using the application as usual when the block was applied. I have not engaged in any unusual or suspicious activities.

:laptop: Operating System and Cursor Version:

  • Operating System: [Your Operating System, e.g., Windows 11, macOS Sonoma 14.4.1, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS]
  • Cursor Version: [Your Cursor Version, e.g., 0.23.0, 0.24.1] (You can usually find this in the “About” section of the application or by checking your download history.)

:prohibited: Does this issue stop you from using Cursor? Yes, this issue completely stops me from using Cursor as my account is blocked and I cannot access any features.

I have been getting a similar error since today out of nowhere and not sure how to fix it.

Doesn’t help. No posts in the past have shared any solution for this yet.
