To help diagnose it, please share:
- Console logs: open Developer Tools (Help → Toggle Developer Tools) right when the “ping” starts and check the Console tab for errors/warnings
- Does the sound stop if you fully quit Cursor?
- Does it happen during specific actions (e.g., when the agent generates a reply) or does it play continuously after some time in the IDE?
- Are there any other apps that might interact with Cursor?
- Quick test: restart Cursor, does the issue come back immediately or only after extended use?
