Wastes time. It deleted my prompt I spent 20 minutes writing. Then, I spend another twenty minutes writing the prompt again. Guess what it does right when I’m almost done? Deletes it again. The second time, I accidentally typed “Ctrl+T” – meant to do it in my web browser. It just deleted my entire prompt. The first time, I opened it in editor mode–new window, but it cleared the tab in my agent focus window as well for some reason.
Literally destroyed my motivation to work, and had to rant about it here. This could not be a more annoying addition. This makes me want to speak unspeakable things. Remove it now.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. Usually when you accidentally press Ctrl + T a new tab is created, but your text should remain in the previous tab. Could you let me know which version of Cursor you’re using and which OS?
Version 1.6.45. Windows 11. Yeah, there don’t seem to be new tabs in the Agent focus mode(it appears to me, it only allows one tab at a time). I just tested it again: it makes a new tab, clearing the old one, but that overwrites it. I have provided a screen recording.
