I love the Agent window, I really wanted to be able to have my chat and my code on separate monitors so the chat sidebar and “vscode” sidebar don’t compete for space with my code files. The new agent window is great and solves this but it doesn’t really connect well with the window that spawns it.
If i click command+I after splitting off an agent window, it will make a new chat sidebar instead of bringing the code I want to copy over to chat into the the detached agent window.
Also if I click on code references/changes made in the detached agent window it navigate to code within the agent window, not back to my main code editor window.
I just think it’d be great being able to have my agent chat and code editor separate windows still interacting, my code editor wouldn’t need to be so wide to fit the agent chat because I could put agent chat on my other monitors.
