Chat in new window won't with Cmd+I shortcut

I’d like to be able to move my chat sidebar to its own floating window and have the Cmd+I shortcut work for it.

Currently I can do this to a degree. I set my default chat location to editor. Then I can right click that and click move to a new window. This works great and it makes it way easier to read my code files and cursors responses because they both have more space (multiple monitors). It also frees up real estate to see when my Background agents have finished. The only problem is when I click Cmd+I (MacOS) to copy highlighted code snippets into my chat; my new chat editor window disappears completely.

Could you guys add support for this?

I think this is essential (and expected behaviour) for a multi-monitor workflow.

I also want to be able to move the Chat panel to its own independent window so I can have code on one screen and chat on another screen.
