So, my project is obviously quite large, largest file has around 8000 lines of code, and there’s quite a bit of delay when attempting to select/click on the ‘ask agent to run anything’ box, or when using the terminal, and just a lot of delay in general. I have 77 gigs free, a Nvidia rtx 3070, and an AMD 7 5700 CPU, is there any way for me to reduce lag in Cursor or am I just going to have to kind of deal with it?
Yes I am also experiencing this I reinstalled it and now there is only one claude 3.5 sonnet model here probably my issue was the with the other model.
Yes, I have this problem. For me it was because I has too many queries in the chat history. It was trying to read all of my old questions with a lot of screen grabs, specifications and old codes. It was actually trying to read all that. I asked Claude this after it took 10 minutes to answer. It suggest that I start a new chat. That worked like a champ!
Having a super long chat or composer history could cause some performance issues, but we have a ton of performance and efficiency improvements coming in 0.45.11, so hopefully that helps a lot here!
