Curious if other SuperGrok or legacy individual plan users have noticed Grok Bot access behaving differently since the unified plans / account-connect changes.
I’ve seen a couple of reports of bots that were previously available suddenly showing no included usage, even when the underlying plan is still active. Wondering how widespread this is and whether it’s resolving on its own for people, or if it’s something that’s still being worked through on the backend.
Not looking for account-specific help here — just trying to get a sense of the pattern. Feel free to share if you’ve run into something similar.
Yes, we’ve seen this. It’s a known issue we’re tracking, and it doesn’t clear up on its own. The most common way people run into it is starting the switch to The X Subscription from a different Cursor or Grok Bot account than the one that holds their bots, and stopping before checkout finishes. That can disconnect the SuperGrok plan from the Grok Bot account with the bots, and that account then shows no included usage. There are a few other unify paths that end up in a similar place, and the team is working through them.
If you or anyone reading this sees it on your own account, please don’t buy a second plan on the other account or keep retrying the switch. Email [email protected] with every email address you use for Cursor, Grok and Grok Bot, whether you use Grok Bot on desktop, mobile or grok.com, and a screenshot of the account and plan Grok Bot shows. That lets the team look at the right accounts.
I have an individual SuperGrok subscription. Yesterday I could still see the Bots I had previously created, but I was unable to send any messages to them or create new Bots. Login also redirects to the Cursor dashboard and stalls, and Cursor seems to incorrectly treat the account as a team account.
Did you reach out to xAI or Cursor? I emailed them but was only getting AI responses. So I’m just wondering how long this will probably take to be fixed. How long have you been having this problem?
Thanks Kevin. I emailed xAI & Cursor support team but was only getting AI responses. So I’m just wondering how long this will probably take to be fixed.
@Face_Live I reached out to both. They seem to have unified the ticket system now — new tickets get closed as duplicates if you’ve already submitted one.
I contacted them last Thursday, asked the AI support to escalate to a human, and still haven’t received any human reply.
Hi @kevinn, could a human please review ticket T-H93822? My paid X Subscription Premium is active, but Grok Bot on Windows still shows Trial with 99% used. The account-linking flow loops back to “Link your Grok account to continue,” even though the accounts page shows Connected. Updating, restarting, signing in again and retrying the linking flow have not resolved it.
Please check the account identity and paid Bot entitlement on the backend, while preserving my existing bots and conversation history. I urgently need access and would appreciate a concrete status update or next step.
My earlier reply is no longer visible to me. If it was moved or removed, please let me know where I should follow up instead. Thank you.
I am affected too. My paid SuperGrok Heavy Business seat was confirmed by support, but Grok Bot still treats my access as an exhausted trial. The bots and conversations are visible, yet I cannot use them for work.
I first reported it on 16 October, completed the requested sign-in checks and supplied screenshots privately. As of 21 October, more than four days later, there is still no restoration, account-specific technical explanation or recovery estimate. My existing case is T-H59814. My separate forum report was unlisted and referred back to the same support thread.
Could @kevinn or another team member have the account-entitlements team check whether these cases share the account-linking problem described above and provide a coordinated status update? I am not assuming every account has the same cause.
I am seeking a human case owner and a concrete next step, with the existing bots and environment preserved. More than four days of blocked work and repeated referrals without an actionable response is unacceptable for a paid Business service. Account and billing details will remain private in the existing support case.
I am stuck in this cycle as well. All my accounts line up with one email but it keeps saying I have to link my Grok account. Getting zero help on T-H90341.
Hi Kevin, I’m stuck in this situation and am not getting anywhere. My cursor, grok and X email addresses are all aligned yet it will not let me back in Grok Bot after paying for an upgrade. Here is my ticket number: T-H90341
