Auto Model doesnt respond

Im using Pro plan, and Auto model worked fine until today. now if i use Auto and use the chat it doesnt respond. i can use other models they are working

Hey, thanks for the report.

To help us look into this, could you please:

  1. Run Network Diagnostics: Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics. What’s the result?
  2. Try logging out and back in: Cursor Settings > log out, then log back in
  3. What exactly happens when you send a request using the Auto model? (a screenshot helps)
  4. Cursor version: Help > About

If diagnostics shows issues with API/Chat/Agent, please try: App Settings CMD/CTRL+, > search for “HTTP/2” > enable “Disable HTTP/2”, then restart Cursor.

Let me know what the results show.

  1. Network Diagnostics shows everything okay
  2. Tried logging out and back in. the old chats doesn’t load either, keep loading with “Loading chat”
  3. If i open a new chat and send a request for Auto model it goes to Planning next move and stops. i have the option to resend the same request no respond from the model. tried few other models they works fine
  4. Cursor version: 2.2.43

I am also facing the same issue. it says auto model reached limit.

I’m facing the same issue. It just started this morning, 12/23.

I enter a chat message, and it quickly returns with nothing (as if it never ran).

All diagnostics are checking normal.

When I switch off Auto and manually select a model, it seems to run. I haven’t testing many, but perhaps the issue is the Auto setting.

Any fix on this issue? Now im getting “You’ve hit your usage limit” message for auto model. I have pro plan, that should give me unlimited auto model responses?

Old chats doesnt load either still. tried logging out few times

This is driving me insane… I can’t continue a specific project, is always stuck on “planning next moves” and when I am lucky that it goes ahead it shows that it can’t connect to internet…
