Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

I try to call LLM of Agent mode from the Cursor’s Chat pane. It however does not reply at all (on any sentences).

Steps to Reproduce

(Since my Cursor is completely broken, I just describe what I have done, which may not reproduce the bug)

I did following actions by Agent mode from Cursor’s Chat pane

  • search files with Box MCP
  • fail the search

LLM did not finish the search above (took very long time like 5 minutes). Then, the LLM has not responded anymore.

For AI issues: which model did you use?

  • Opus 4.5: used for calling Box MCP
  • Auto: used after that

Additional Information

What I have tried:

  1. Restart the Cursor
  2. Change Cursor accounts
  3. Implement solutions described in: Cursor takes too long to respond
  4. Re-install the Cursor MacOS App

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

I close this issue since LLM begins responding after a while.
