Hey, thanks for the report. Let’s run a few quick checks:

  1. Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics and share the full output.
  2. App Settings Ctrl+, > search “HTTP/2” > enable “Disable HTTP/2”, then restart Cursor.
  3. Are you on a VPN/proxy/corporate network (e.g., Zscaler)? If yes, try turning it off or switching to another network.
  4. Try a different model in the chat and see if the slowness persists.

If it still happens, please share:

  • A sample prompt and timestamp of the slow run
  • 2-3 Request IDs from slow chats (Chat menu ••• > Copy Request ID)
  • Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console errors (screenshot)
  • Whether this happens in all projects or a new empty workspace

We’ll investigate as soon as we have these details.

It was a high-latency issue with my Wi-Fi, but it’s resolved now. I didn’t know about the Diagnostics feature in Cursor earlier, but now I understand it.
Thanks for the help.
