The default is agent window, but I really want the ide window to browser my file and code.
Hey, you can bring it back via a setting. Open Cursor Settings > General > Startup > Window Restoration and set it to Last Used Windows. After that, close Cursor from the IDE window. Next time you start it, it’ll open in the IDE, not the Agents Window. Also, opening a folder will always open the editor.
If the setting doesn’t stick, update Cursor to the latest version. They fixed a few issues with this behavior.
