Can't add certain files to context

I’m trying to add files from external libraries and my .env but does not let me add them to the context chat.

I’m wondering if these issues are related:

Can't find amy files ("No available options") after indexing

Cursor appears unable to find any of my files. I can’t reference them via @, or by clicking the “@ Add context” button unless they’re currently open. Codebase not fully indexed – only .gitignore is included

Hello Cursor team, I am experiencing an issue with codebase indexing in Cursor. When I resync my index, only the .gitignore file is included (the message says “Synced (1 files)”). However, my project contains many more files and folders, and I would like everything (except for standard excluded directories like node_modules and vendor) to be indexed. I have tried manually editing the embeddable_files.txt file, but when I resync, this file is automatically reset to only include .gitignore. My…

If it is, be aware indexing is completely broken. If you try for a re-index by deletion, it will fail and you’ll no longer be able to index any files.
